Well, I don't know how much real evolution it is, considering that it's been used in famous literature of past centuries. :P

Shakespeare is a really bad example, in my opinion. He also had a tendency to make up words every other scene and use a syntax that's entirely inappropriate for modern grammar. *shrugs* Not that I disapprove of making up words, but I wouldn't recommend it to my high-schoolers. ^_^;
