Several days of trying to beat network hard- and software into submission ended 2:1 for the hardware/software team, with a revengeful USB WLAN stick that causes a BSOD on every computer it's connected to, a win2k WPA tool that connects every 20 seconds to a different repeater and a sleep-deprived rock who's within inches of just trashing it all and buy cables.

Inventions that should be made asap: Beaming and cordless power transmission.
