So, they haven't decided yet on Mihoko's successor, but Bill's and Gatsby's girl for September have been chosen: Shirosaki Ai (Daisy), and Hazakura Shizuku (Sally)...
But it may all depend on when Asako decides to leave...
If she leaves soon (and remains without partner until then, like Saeko) and Kiriyan and Ai-chan will be the next tops, I would have expected Ai-chan to be Sally...
If Asako doesn't leave soon and Ai-chan will be Asako's partner, I don't understand why they don't announce it now.
1) Asako leaves after Genji (because otherwise they would go ahead and give her a new partner right away) 2) They don't promote Ai-chan, because if they were going to make her Kiriyan's partner, they would promote her now. 3) They bring in someone new as Kiriyan's top.
I'm not surprised that the position is being left vacant, but I feel really sad for Ai-chan. Then again, she IS getting a lead opposite a top star. I just wish she could get top status, even if only for a short time.
Am I the only one looking forward to Yume? ^_^;; Plus, I mean, Spanish revue; those are always good for laughs and occasionally good for attractive otokoyaku. :P I'll be mad if they don't write in more otokoyaku roles though. Two male leads and 25 male pages doesn't sound like a great cast.
I'm exaggerating (probably...) but I read through the relevant sections after the announcement was made, and with the exception of Niou and Kaoru nearly every possessor of a Y-chromosome pops in to announce that somebody's dead or dying and then disappears for the remainder of the text. I was kind of not-pleased about that; I thought relocating Yuuhi meant the end of such a narrow focus...
Anyway, for those not overly concerned with what happens to the sanbante, I think Yume would be a perfectly good show for Asako to go out on. It plays to her strengths.

But your version seems quite likely. Although the Genji thing doesn't really seem like a good sayonara show... :-/

Tsuki doesn't just have a talented sanbante who would be underused as a retainer/page... whatever. :-/
Spanish-themed revue also sounds very Asako-ish (El Viento, Viento Espanol)...
