(no subject)

My turn to ask a translation question:

カスタネットと共に最初の一撞きが始まる。

Castagnettes and what?
(It's the underlined that seems to escape any attempt to translate.)

Context: [Spanish Pool Bar.] カスタネットと共に最初の一撞きが始まる。プールバーである。ハスラーたちが技を競っている。

Edit: I think [livejournal.com profile] muffin_song and I solved it. It's probably the first shot in a pool billiard game. ^^

"To tomo ni" is "with" as in "gone with the wind".

"The very first hit came with the castanettes." ... Or something like that. What's the term for pool? Strike? Hit?

Yes, yes! It's the first shot in a pool game! <3

The,um, hustlers? are playing pool... In a pool bar. Which... is no real surprise, but solves all my problems. :P

Huh?? The first shot with the castanettes? The castanettes?? XD XD XD
...The hustler turns around after the shot, strikes the floor with the heels and yells out "Ole!"

LMAO, I would not be surprised at all, it being Takarazuka and this specifically a quite cracky bow hall... XD
