Starship Operators

I'm in geek-love with this Anime.
... the techno-babble actually makes sense.

They have 0-gravity all over the ship:

Even on the bridge, they have to be fastened to their seats:


But there's a spinning ring in the crew quarters section that simulates gravity through centrifugal force.

They have hallways, but since it's zero-gravity, they have these neat "accelerators"...


LOL, their air mix even has Argon it it...

Oh, and those girls in uniforms... Doesn't she look dyke-ish?

Maybe I should have paid more attention to them...

Date: 2006-06-28 10:13 pm (UTC)Why? I have no idea why. The composition is actually simulating the natural composition of earth's atmosphere. Nitrogen is non-toxic, and our body adapted to ~20% oxygen. Pure oxygen would kill us (at normal atmospheric pressure), just like the lack of oxygen. (It's biology, about partial pressure of gases, diffusion, pressure equalization... and how too much oxygen would "oxidize" our body.)
