	That's from my DykesVision days. When I started contributing to the website and the forum I used to sign my posts with "K.". Later I was asked to be moderator resp. supermoderator. I thought my new powers should reflect in my avatar, so I sat down and made this one from scratch. I'm very fond of it and keep it around mostly for posts related to american comics.
	This one is also comic-related. It's Renee Montoya, a character from the DC Comics universe. She used to be a cop in Gotham city, but after her girlfriend left her she started drinking... - It's a long story that has been posted to daily_yuri. Recently she has taken up the mask & trenchcoat of the vigilant "The Question", who was briefly her mentor before dying of cancer. So, there she is, a hot latina with fedora being "The Question" - the one true icon for all questions.
	This one is related to wyrdmaege, "da wabbit" who likes to call me "kya-bear". We used to chat a lot on msn. One day I was searching google for a picture to express my emotional support and I found this. At first I only used it on msn, but eventually I needed a hug icon for LJ, too, and dug out this one. It also serves as peaceful/placatory/neutral (=non-zuka) icon.
LMAO! Where is this pic of Mihoko from!? XD	Baby Mihoko! :D It's a screencap from the Making Of clip of NHK's "Tale of Genji" (2000) production, featuring Hanagumi. Its usability is obviously very limited, but sometimes it does come in handy, so I'll keep it for now.
	Jas introduced me to The Onion. She also had it as a mood theme for her LJ. I loved this little bugger right away. It's so cute, aesthetically pleasing without being overly teethhurtingly girly sweet. When I found out that one of my AMV's had been "recycled" I was very angry (for my standards). I'm not often very angry, and most of my icons are about fandom, love and appreciation, so when I wanted to post a rant I found that I didn't have an appropriate icon to emphasize my feelings. Since I'm not violent or destructive, I thought the cute onion being mad reflects me and my mood best. So there, my rant icon. :P
	Mami. Mami with a hat. Hat love. It inspired a whole set of icons with the basic theme sienne+hat=OTP. I tried to add some references to shows Mami's been in, and Gone With The Wind was one of those whose title could be easily altered. I thought it's time to use some of them. It's a fairly new addition, if it gets used now and then, I'll keep it.
	XD My latest addition, taken from the TCA preview clip for the Christmas Present CD & DVD. The are two basic motivations for me to make icons. One is the, usually acute, need for an icon with a certain theme, and the other is that I see something and challenge myself to try and iconize it. Originally I only wanted to make an icon of Tani, but when I saw the Osa scene frame-by-frame, I thought it could be made into a funny icon, too. It turned out that the Tani one was more of a challenge. It doesn't look like it, but it needed a lot more tweaking... Anyhow. Obviously this is a silly christmas icon, to be used for silliness and christmas and christmas silliness. Besides, happy, smiley, silly Osa is love. It might get used in reference to that, too.
