The lost airmail? Unregistered? Uninsured?

Was returned to the sender because whoever was delivering it couldn't find the address.

And THEY RETURNED IT.

One [small] worry less. Phew.

Glad to hear that! I'm also experiencing mail problems myself so... yeah. But thank goodness for the shiny not getting lost! :)

It just proves once more that this kind of shiny travels with divine protection. :)

That's fantastic! Hopefully you'll get it soon. <3 Maybe check the address you gave against the post office website? Their street names are whacky sometimes.

I stopped getting packages delivered to my house years ago, when 8 out of 10 packages (most of them sent from a summer program I would attend) were lost within a month. Only about half of them made it back, and the publisher's office is 20 minutes away. x_x

Wow, 8 out of 10? That's quite a lot. Some mail from overseas gets "lost" around here every once in a while, too, but I don't think it's that much.

While figuring out what the hell happened that summer, we were told that parcels are delivered by a separate person from the mail guy (and express mail by yet another person). The parcel post guy has a list of complaints against him a mile long but they still haven't fired him. That probably explains why your package was returned, too - your regular mail carrier would have recognized your name, most likely.
My grandfather tips his mail carrier, which is probably why he never has issues. >_> Then again he probably wouldn't have to tip his mail carrier if his granddaughter didn't keep sending international and express packages to his house. :D

o_O;

Mh. My mother recently got a package that claimed that our adress was invalid.

And another time I got mail from my fanclub on which was written by the german post that they can't read my adress. (But hey, they delivered it nonetheless)

Well, I'm not taking any more risks and will pay for EMS. Sure hurts for 2+ kilogramms, but it'll be altogether healthier for my heart and nerves. :)

Glad to hear this wonderful news, :D!

Same thing happened to me once and I wasn't pretty happy about it(lots of rare stuff from Japan and countless other things at the time that aren't Zuka related).

I'm at a point where I'm actually just happy that it's not completely lost. :)

My faith is restored, but I'll pay this time and have it sent via EMS. :P

After all, it has "Cerulean". - I learned my lesson.
