Several days of trying to beat network hard- and software into submission ended 2:1 for the hardware/software team, with a revengeful USB WLAN stick that causes a BSOD on every computer it's connected to, a win2k WPA tool that connects every 20 seconds to a different repeater and a sleep-deprived rock who's within inches of just trashing it all and buy cables.

Inventions that should be made asap: Beaming and cordless power transmission.

Edit2: McAfee WSC sucks (yes, it doesn't load, which is where the sucking starts), Cisco SSC wins.

I thought it was accepted fact that Cisco > McAfee pretty much always. At least in my experience. ;-)

Well, it was my first time with Cisco and getting to the download page was almost worse than airport passenger screening. o.O

But at least their stuff works. I'm not allowed to redistribute it to Cuba, but you cannot have it all. :P
